About this Cycle Tour

There are few biking experiences that compare with cycling beneath towering fig trees among a thousand years of Khmer history at Angkor. Let our trusted Cambodian cycle and temple guides give you an interesting and a totally different way to visit Angkor. The added benefit of being on bicycle is that you will see more than the incredible legacy of the Khmer empire and get to glimpse into rural Cambodian life.

Book Your Cycling Holiday

Day 1

Pick up from airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of day free.

Day 2

We ride to the Angkor Temple complex before starting the Grand Circuit, stopping at each major temple area. At sunset we return to the temples by car for a sunset view from Phnom Bakheng.

Day 3

We enter the temple complex by a much quieter gate and then ride into the countryside and we turn off the main tourist road to Banteay Srei, visiting Banteay Samre on the way.

Day 4

Today we leave the crowds behind and head towards the small village of Roulous, home to some of the earliest permanent structures built by the Khmers and then head to the floating village of Kampong Phluck. After a boat tour around the village, we cycle or drive back to Siem Reap. ** Due to low water levels during the dry season, the boat trip at Kampong Phluck is only possible from June to March. However, an alternative floating village at Kampong Kleang can be arranged instead.

Day 5

Free time until transfer to airport for onward flight.

If you wish some adventure and have a good bike trousers, this tour is a very good combination of visiting temples and biking.

We had an excellent time, and hope to book again with SpiceRoads in the future.

It was the best way to see the real Cambodia, great balance between Temples and cycling! Really recommend it. As a couple, we had a great time cycling around and exploring the Temples. Bikes were easy to use and in great conditions. Guide was really knowledgeable and friendly, making sure we were looked after all the time. Hotel staff were great.
