Cycling Hanoi to Phuket
Cycle from the South China Sea to the Andaman Sea, passing through the best of what Vietnam, Laos and Thailand have to offer. From Hanoi you'll be riding through the tough mountains of northwest Vietnam, crossing into remote Laos, where there will be some longs days of riding. After a well deserved rest in Luang Prabang it's time to make your way to Thailand, where you'll first cycle through hill tribe trails and along scenic rivers before heading through central Thailand where you'll explore historic sites. After a rest day in Bangkok it's time to enjoy the sea breeze as you pedal along the Gulf of Thailand before crossing the Isthmus of Thailand and ending triumphantly in the resort island of Phuket.
You’ll ride up some tough mountains, be rewarded with some thrilling descents, navigate rivers, be lulled by sandy beaches, shaded by palm trees and greeted by friendly people as you see the best natural and cultural wonders of South East Asia. Along the way you will be fuelled by fresh fruit and delicious local dishes and overnight in a wide variety of accommodation, from deluxe resorts to village home stays.
