Chiang Mai Classic Stage Ride
What do we see? We start our journey by transferring out of Chiang Mai to avoid traffic and set our bikes up by the beautiful Huey Tung Tao lake. Our ride continues up through the narrow valley, our route we'll see the river tumble down numerous cascades, as we climbs and stop for lunch. Later on we head back towards city following the ancient trade path. No doubt we will be left with a sense of satisfaction of a great ride and an insight into the lives of the Lanna people and an appreciation for the beauty of Northern Thailand.
What is the riding like? We make a 120 km loop around the mountain and back to Chiang Mai.This trip is fully supported and you'll have a constant supply of cold drinks and fresh fruit. Your guide’s expert knowledge of the area and terrain means that you always know what is coming up in terms of distance and difficulty.
Of course, water, soft drinks and snacks are all included as well as lunch by the reservoir and SpiceRoads supplies a quality road bike and helmet. You can choose to use your own bike, please let us know at the time of booking your preference.
